What you’ll be doing
For our international Tech Team, we are looking for a
Test Automation Engineer (f/m/d)
in full time (38.5 weekly hours) to start asap.
You will be working on our flagship print workflow suite, in close cooperation with intelligent, creative, and dedicated members from around the world.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team, offering you the chance to grow both your soft and hard skills. You should be highly proactive and self-driven, with a sharp ability to spot improvement opportunities and suggest effective solutions.
While you will be guided and supported by our Technical Team, you will have the freedom to explore your own methods and propose innovative approaches to tackle challenges.
- You implement integration and API tests in coordination with our Test Automation Team.
- You will support our in-house QA team by automating test cases and implementing internal tools for test automation.
- You plan, set up, maintain and manage software infrastructure, especially systems required for testing, development activities and project management.
- Implementing and executing stability, security and performance tests to ensure the highest quality of our product will be your responsibility.
- You prepare reports for conducted tests.
- By providing feedback gained from testing, you contribute to product concepts and user experience.
- Last but not least you act as the main contact person for a remote test automation team, planning and assigning tasks as well as answering questions and issues.
What it takes
- You have a university degree in computer science or a similar field and relevant work experience in Test Automation.
- Working independently and good communication within in a team are your strengths.
- You have extensive knowledge in the field of test automation, using frameworks such as Playwright and Selenium.
- You have experience with performance testing tools such as K6 or JMeter.
- You are proficient in the usage of JavaScript and web technologies.
- You have experience in API testing using JavaScript based tools.
- You worked with continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- You are no stranger to complex systems and like to deep dive into them to get a thorough understanding.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
That's nice to have:- You are familiar with project management software like Jira.
- Contributing to product concepts and user experience comes naturally to you.
- You have good German skills.
